I was lucky with Allie that she never needed a pacifier. I don't like the idea of a pacifier simply because babies tend to become dependent on them. I am just not a fan...
However, the more I read about pacifiers...the more it appears to be good for babies. Babies, apparently are soothed by sucking...and the pacifiers used during sleep cut back on SIDS. I realized that even after a full feeding, Kaiya would still root around. She hasn't been able to pick up on the eat, wake, sleep pattern...she's more of a eat, wake, wake type of baby!!! I don't know if it's the gas that is contributing to the lack of sleep, but when a pacifier is introduced...Kaiya is immediately soothed and falls to sleep...
So...again - this goes to show that NO TWO BABIES from the same family are always the same!!
