So, I thought, very naively...I've already had one...the second baby should be a breeze. I mean, COME ON...I did awesome with Allie, right?!?!
Turns out - EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT!
Kaiya has had super big gas issues - so much so that her belly has been bloated...and tight! She went from having 3-5 bowel movements a day to 1...and she seemed to be grunting and trying to push ALL the time with no results in the diaper.
So, rather than continue to worry about it - I took her in to the pediatrician.
Our pediatrician recommended to stay away from the gripe water that I had been giving her for the past few days for gas due to the fact that it is not regulated by the FDA and go back to the Mylicon. They tried doing a "glycerin suppository" which is a fancy way of saying pseudo rectal temperature to get her to poop...with no luck. So on our way back home we went with a gassy baby!

And this one made me laugh - I posted it in FB and two people captioned it for me as I put up the question she might have been asking herself: WHAT. IS. THAT??!?!?!
