As the week winds down, Kaiya is progressively getting better. The mucous is stopping at her throat and isn't making it up to her sinus cavity - so diagnosing a trip to the suction clinic / ER is a hard call to make.
Tonight we went and she had so much caught up in the back of her throat - as they were suctioning her through her nose, she threw up. All mucous.
Since we've been regulars here this week, I've gone from not being able to stay in the room and nervously clenching my hands down the room - to holding her hands and trying to soothe her while they do it. I still can't watch and have to turn my head away. It is just too hard to watch your tiny helpless baby be in such discomfort and not know why.
So - sleep, beautiful darling, sleep. Be better so that we can soon put all of this behind us.
